Hayden Smith, Associate

Hayden graduated with his Juris Doctor and Master of Public Administration degrees from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School and Marriott School of Business. Hayden gained significant practical experience as a legal extern for the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Utah, the Utah State Court of Appeals, and the Office of the Utah Attorney General. Hayden is passionate about public service and while in law school assisted Spanish-speaking clients as part of the BYU’s free legal clinic. Hayden also served as a research assistant to two BYU law professors and was recently published in the BYU Education and Law Journal.

Hayden enjoys spending time with his family, writing songs and playing guitar, boxing and martial arts, and recently ran a sprint triathlon. He also enjoys politics and previously served as an intern for two U.S. senators. Hayden is passionate about public service and travelling, and travelled to Tanzania with his wife on a humanitarian and business development trip.
