Biography:
Ms. LaMadrid has experience in the negotiation and structuring of aircraft acquisition transactions, including ownership entity analysis, sales and use tax planning and documentation. Ms. LaMadrid has represented aviation clients in the drafting and negotiating of aircraft purchase and sale agreements, management agreements, dry leases, time sharing agreements, joint ownership agreements and other transactional documents. Ms. LaMadrid has also represented clients before the Nevada Tax Commission for sales and use tax issues relating to aircraft acquisitions.
While in Law School, Ms. LaMadrid was a member of the Thomas Sterling Honor Society, a University of South Dakota Moot Court Board Member, a member in the National Order of the Barristers, received the CALI Excellence Award for Highest Grade in Property, Criminal Law, Federal Income Tax, Evidence, Business Entity Taxation, Business Planning and International Business Transactions. She was a Finalist in several National Moot Court Tournaments including the New York Bar, and ABA Tournaments. Ms. LaMadrid was the recipient of the Alan Bogue Moot Court Award, Colbath Criminal Law Award, Porter Award, L.B. & W.W. French Scholarship, Alan Cross Tax Scholarship, Donald Schultz Evidence Award, and the Roy E. Willy Scholarship.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. LaMadrid provided legal advice to a wide range of companies. She has served as both general counsel and in-house counsel to several construction companies.
She has provided sales and use tax consulting including audits with various State taxing authorities.
