Biography:
Ms. Maher has been practicing law since February 2006. Her current areas of practice include: Construction defect litigation, real estate transactions, construction law, contract law, business formation and commercial law, environmental law, water law and agency compliance issues. While in law school, she was an extern for the U.S. Attorneys’ Office and for the Clark County Legal Services’ “Ask a Lawyer” Program.
Prior to her legal career she worked in the environmental industry for eleven years, most recently as Environmental Manager for a semi-conductor manufacturing facility in Puyallup, Washington. She also has ten years’ experience in advertising sales. Ms. Maher presently co-owns a real estate appraisal company in Las Vegas along with her husband.
Ms. Maher was raised in Seattle, Washington and attended the University of Washington, graduating cum laude in May of 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. She received her Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in May 2005. Ms. Maher was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in October of 2005.
Ms. Maher is an active member of the Executive Board of Directors for the Sunrise Children’s Foundation, and heads up its “Sunny Tales” Program to encourage reading among children in our community.
